Bebé

Tiago Manuel Dias Correia, known in the football world as Bebé, was born on July 12, 1990, in Portugal. His early life was marked by adversity, as he was abandoned by his parents and grew up in a homeless shelter near Lisbon. Despite these challenges, Bebé found solace and purpose in football, beginning his journey as an amateur player with Loures.

In 2009, Bebé's talent caught the attention of Estrela da Amadora, where he continued to hone his skills. His breakthrough came in 2010 when he signed with Vitória de Guimarães, but his career took a dramatic turn when he was transferred to Manchester United for a fee of approximately seven million pounds, a move that surprised even the club's manager, Alex Ferguson, who admitted he had never seen Bebé play.

At Manchester United, Bebé struggled to secure a place in the first team, leading to loan spells with Beşiktaş in Turkey and clubs in Portugal, including Rio Ave and Paços de Ferreira. In July 2014, he made a permanent move to Benfica, where he continued to develop his career.

His journey took him to Spain, where he had loan spells with Córdoba and Rayo Vallecano before joining Eibar in July 2016. Bebé returned to Rayo Vallecano in 2018, initially on loan, and most recently, he had a loan spell at Zaragoza during the 2022–23 season. Throughout his career, he has also represented the Cape Verde national team, showcasing his talent on an international stage.
