Becky Kellar-Duke

Becky Kellar-Duke, born on January first, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished retired ice hockey defender and coach. Throughout her illustrious career, she showcased her skills with teams such as the Toronto Aeros and Oakville Ice in the National Women's Hockey League, as well as the Burlington Barracudas in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. Kellar's contributions to the sport extended beyond club play, as she proudly represented the Canadian national team.

Her Olympic journey is particularly noteworthy, having participated in four Winter Olympics. Kellar first took to the ice in Nagano in nineteen ninety-eight, followed by appearances in Salt Lake City in two thousand two and Turin in two thousand six. Remarkably, she was named to the Canadian team for the two thousand ten Winter Olympics, making her one of only four women to compete in all four tournaments alongside legends like Hayley Wickenheiser, Jennifer Botterill, and Jayna Hefford.

In the two thousand ten gold medal game, Kellar made history as the oldest player on the ice, demonstrating her enduring talent and dedication to the sport.
