Behgjet Pacolli

Behgjet Pacolli, born on August thirtieth, nineteen fifty-one, is a prominent figure in Kosovo and Switzerland, known for his multifaceted career as a diplomat, politician, and businessman. He made history as the President of Kosovo and served as the first deputy prime minister from two thousand eleven to two thousand fourteen. His political journey also includes a significant role as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of Ramush Haradinaj from two thousand seventeen to two thousand nineteen.

Pacolli played a crucial role in Kosovo's path to independence, being one of the signatories of the declaration in two thousand eight. His influence extends beyond politics; he is the major shareholder of Mabetex Group, a Swiss-based construction and civil engineering company, which has contributed to his status as one of the wealthiest ethnic Albanians in the world.

In addition to his business and political endeavors, Pacolli is the president of the New Kosovo Alliance, the third largest political party in Kosovo.
