Ben Hindle

Ben Hindle, born on May 23, 1974, is a multifaceted Canadian athlete known for his remarkable achievements in bobsledding, athletics, and acting. His journey in the world of sports began with track and field, where he excelled in the 100 m and 200 m events, earning national recognition for his speed and agility.

Transitioning to bobsledding in the 1990s, Hindle made a significant mark by winning a bronze medal in the four-man event at the 1999 FIBT World Championships held in Cortina d'Ampezzo. His dedication and skill propelled him to compete in two Winter Olympics, where he showcased his talent by finishing 11th in the four-man event at the Nagano Games in 1998.

In addition to his athletic prowess, Hindle ventured into acting, portraying a Russian bobsledder in the beloved 1993 film Cool Runnings. This role not only highlighted his versatility but also endeared him to a wider audience, blending his passion for sports with the world of entertainment.
