Benjamin Verbič

Benjamin Verbič, born on November twenty-seventh, nineteen ninety-three, is a talented Slovenian professional footballer who currently plays as a left winger for Levadiakos in the Super League Greece and represents the Slovenia national team.

Verbič began his football journey with his hometown club, Celje, where he made a significant impact by appearing in one hundred twenty-six matches and scoring thirty-five goals across all competitions. His time at Celje was marked by notable achievements, including being the runner-up in the Slovenian PrvaLiga during the 2014-15 season and finishing as a three-time runner-up in the Slovenian Football Cup.

In two thousand fifteen, Verbič made a pivotal move to Copenhagen, where he enjoyed a successful stint, winning both the Danish Superliga and the Danish Cup in each of his full seasons. His career took another turn in January two thousand eighteen when he signed with Dynamo Kyiv, where he added a league title and two cup victories to his accolades. Following the onset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he temporarily joined Polish club Legia Warsaw.

Having represented Slovenia at various youth levels, Verbič made his senior debut in March two thousand fifteen against Qatar, marking the beginning of his contributions to the national team.
