Beth Mead

Beth Mead, born on May ninth, nineteen ninety-five, is an illustrious English professional footballer who has made her mark as a forward for Arsenal in the Women's Super League (WSL) and the England national team. Before joining Arsenal, she showcased her talent at Sunderland, where she played a pivotal role in the club's promotion and WSL 2 title victory. Mead's creativity and goal-scoring prowess have established her as one of the greatest players in Sunderland's history, with an impressive tally of eighty-one goals in one hundred and nine appearances.

At Arsenal, Mead transitioned to a winger and quickly became a record-holder in playmaking within the WSL. She boasts the all-time most assists, as well as records for the most assists in a season and the most chances created from open play. Her exceptional performance in the 2018–19 and 2021–22 seasons earned her the title of WSL top assist provider, and she was nominated for WSL Player of the Season in the latter year. Mead's contributions were instrumental in Arsenal's triumph in the 2018–19 WSL title and the 2024–25 Champions League.
