Bibiane Schoofs

Bibiane Schoofs, born on May 13, 1988, is a former professional tennis player from the Netherlands, known for her competitive spirit and achievements on the court. Initially recognized as Bibiane Weijers, she made a name for herself in the tennis world, reaching a career-high WTA singles ranking of one hundred forty-two on June 11, 2012. Her prowess in doubles was equally impressive, achieving a peak ranking of world number seventy-seven on November 6, 2023.

In her personal life, Bibiane married on July 7, 2014, adopting her husband's surname. However, in late 2016, she chose to revert to her maiden name, Schoofs. That same year, she celebrated a significant milestone by becoming the national singles champion, further solidifying her status in Dutch tennis.

Throughout her career, Schoofs has claimed eight singles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, with three victories occurring in 2011. In doubles, she has an impressive record, winning twenty-three ITF titles, including three in 2017. At the age of twenty-nine, she triumphed at the 2017 Mumbai Open, a Challenger-level tournament, showcasing her enduring talent.
