Biligtü Khan Ayushiridara, born on January twenty-third, thirteen thirty-eight, is a significant figure in Mongolian history. Known by his temple name as the Emperor Zhaozong of Northern Yuan, he ascended to the throne in the year thirteen seventy, following the death of his father, Toghon Temür, who was also known as Emperor Shun.
His reign, which lasted until April or May of thirteen seventy-eight, was marked by notable military achievements. In the year thirteen seventy-two, Biligtü Khan successfully led his forces against an invading army from the Ming dynasty, reclaiming territories that had been lost to the newly established dynasty.
