Bill Blair

Bill Blair, born on April ninth, nineteen fifty-four, is a distinguished Canadian diplomat and politician, currently serving as the Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom since two thousand twenty-six. A member of the Liberal Party, he previously represented Scarborough Southwest in the House of Commons from two thousand fifteen to two thousand twenty-six.

Throughout his political career, Blair has held significant Cabinet positions under the leadership of both Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney. Notably, he served as the Minister of National Defence from two thousand twenty-three to two thousand twenty-five, showcasing his commitment to national security and defense.

Before embarking on his political journey, Blair dedicated over four decades to the Toronto Police Service, where he rose through the ranks to become the chief of police.
