Bill Cartwright

Bill Cartwright, born on July 30, 1957, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player and coach. Standing at an impressive seven feet one inch, he made a significant impact in the National Basketball Association (NBA) over a remarkable sixteen-season career. Cartwright played for the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, and Seattle SuperSonics, where he was instrumental in the Chicago Bulls' triumphs, contributing to their consecutive championships in the 1991, 1992, and 1993 seasons.

Before his professional career, Cartwright honed his skills at Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California, and later showcased his talent at the collegiate level with the San Francisco Dons. His journey through basketball is marked not only by his height and skill but also by his dedication to the sport.

After retiring as a player, Cartwright transitioned into coaching, taking the helm as the head coach of the Chicago Bulls. His coaching career also included leading the Osaka Evessa in the bj League and serving as the head coach for the Mexico men's national basketball team.
