Bill Clements

William Perry Clements Jr., born on April 13, 1917, was a prominent American businessman and a significant figure in the Republican Party. He made history by serving two nonconsecutive terms as the governor of Texas from 1979 to 1991, marking a pivotal moment in the state's political landscape.
