Bill Maher

Bill Maher, born on January 20, 1956, is a prominent American comedian, television presenter, and political commentator. He is best known for his sharp political satire and has been the host of the HBO political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher since 2003. In addition to his current endeavors, Maher previously hosted the late-night show Politically Incorrect from 1993 to 2002, which aired on both ABC and Comedy Central.

Often recognized as a moderate liberal, Maher is unafraid to tackle controversial subjects, including religion, political correctness, and the mass media. His critical perspective on religion culminated in the 2008 documentary film Religulous, which garnered significant attention.
