Her most notable achievement came in nineteen sixty-five when she won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with her song 'For din skyld' ('For Your Sake'), earning the opportunity to represent Denmark at the tenth Eurovision Song Contest in Naples, where she finished in seventh place.
