Benjamin Thage Dag Reichwald, known to the world as Bladee, is a multifaceted Swedish artist born on April ninth, nineteen ninety-four. He emerged from the vibrant music scene in 2013, co-founding the Drain Gang collective with his childhood friends Ecco2k, Thaiboy Digital, and Whitearmor. Bladee quickly made a name for himself, gaining recognition through his collaborations with the enigmatic Yung Lean.
His artistic journey began with the release of his debut mixtape, Gluee, in two thousand fourteen, followed by his first studio album, Eversince, in two thousand sixteen. Bladee's creative endeavors expanded in two thousand seventeen when he took on the role of art director for Yung Lean's Sadboys Gear clothing line, while also releasing the collaborative mixtape Working on Dying.
In two thousand eighteen, he unveiled two significant projects: Red Light and Icedancer. The following year proved to be prolific, as Bladee released three projects, including Exeter, 333, and Good Luck, a collaboration with producer Mechatok. His fifth studio album, The Fool, released in two thousand twenty-one, received critical acclaim and showcased his evolving artistry.
Bladee's artistic expression extended beyond music; later in two thousand twenty-one, he exhibited his first solo collection of paintings titled Real Sprin9 and collaborated with the American-Swedish clothing brand GANT. In two thousand twenty-two, he continued to innovate with the release of Crest, a collaborative album with Ecco2k, and his sixth solo album, Spiderr.
In two thousand twenty-three, Bladee released several singles in collaboration with Skrillex and Yung Lean, further solidifying his presence in the music industry. The following year, he launched Psykos, a collaborative album with Yung Lean, and Cold Visions, while also featuring on the remix of Charli XCX's song 'Rewind.' Notably, he announced his departure from his longtime label and management company, Year0001, marking a new chapter in his artistic journey.
