Bliss Carman

Bliss Carman, born on April fifteenth, eighteen sixty-one, was a distinguished Canadian poet whose literary journey led him to spend the majority of his life in the United States. Throughout his career, he garnered international acclaim, ultimately being recognized as Canada's poet laureate in his later years.

As a prominent figure among the Confederation Poets, Carman's work placed him alongside notable contemporaries such as his cousin Charles G.D. Roberts, Archibald Lampman, and Duncan Campbell Scott.
