Coming from a rich lineage of wrestling, Rotunda is a third-generation wrestler. His family includes notable figures such as his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan, his father Mike Rotunda, his uncles Barry and Kendall Windham, and his brother Bray Wyatt, all of whom have made their mark in the industry.
During his time in WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), Bo Dallas achieved remarkable success, becoming a three-time FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion and a two-time FCW Florida Tag Team Champion alongside his brother. After FCW was rebranded as NXT in two thousand twelve, he was repackaged as Bo Dallas and became the youngest NXT Champion, further solidifying his place in wrestling history.
