Bob Alexander

Bob Alexander, born on August seventh, nineteen twenty-two, was a distinguished Canadian professional baseball pitcher whose career spanned several notable teams. He began his journey in baseball at Bethany College in West Virginia, where his talent began to shine.

In nineteen forty-two, Alexander was signed by the prestigious New York Yankees, marking the start of his professional career. However, it wasn't until nineteen fifty-five that he made his Major League debut with the Baltimore Orioles, showcasing his skills on a larger stage.

Throughout his career, Alexander also played for the Cleveland Indians and made history as the first Canadian player in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) while with the Toei Flyers. His contributions to the sport extended beyond the diamond, as he served as an Aviation Cadet in the United States Navy during World War II, demonstrating his commitment to his country.
