Throughout his career, he also played for notable teams such as the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings.

In nineteen eighty-two, Manno showcased his talent by participating in the NHL All-Star Game. After concluding his NHL career following the nineteen eighty-five season, he transitioned to play in Italy. His time in Italy was marked by stints with HC Merano, HC Fassa, and HC Milano Saima, where he won a national title in the nineteen ninety-one season. He ultimately finished his playing career with HC Bolzano Foxes, accumulating a total of three Italian titles and one Alpenliga championship.
