Bob Manno

Bob Manno, a former professional ice hockey forward, was born on October thirty-first, nineteen fifty-six, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He is a Canadian-born Italian who made a significant impact in the world of ice hockey, starting his National Hockey League career with the Vancouver Canucks in nineteen seventy-six. Throughout his career, he also played for notable teams such as the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings.

In nineteen eighty-two, Manno showcased his talent by participating in the NHL All-Star Game. After concluding his NHL career following the nineteen eighty-five season, he transitioned to play in Italy. His time in Italy was marked by stints with HC Merano, HC Fassa, and HC Milano Saima, where he won a national title in the nineteen ninety-one season. He ultimately finished his playing career with HC Bolzano Foxes, accumulating a total of three Italian titles and one Alpenliga championship.

Manno's contributions extended beyond club hockey; he represented the Italian national team on multiple occasions, including at the A Pool of the nineteen eighty-two and nineteen eighty-three World Ice Hockey Championships, as well as the nineteen ninety-two Olympics.

After retiring from professional play, Manno embarked on a coaching career in Italy, leading teams such as HC Bolzano, HC Milano 24, HC Merano, and Asiago Hockey AS.
