Bohdan Krawchenko

Bohdan Krawchenko, born on December twenty-ninth, nineteen forty-six, is a distinguished Ukrainian-Canadian historian and political scientist. His academic journey has been marked by significant contributions to the understanding of Ukrainian history and politics, particularly in the context of post-Soviet reforms.

Currently, Krawchenko serves as a Principal Research Fellow at the University of Central Asia (UCA), where he continues to influence the academic landscape. His leadership experience includes a notable tenure as the Director General of UCA, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the institution's direction and research initiatives.

In addition to his work at UCA, Krawchenko has held the position of Director at the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies (CIUS). His involvement in this institute has been crucial in promoting Ukrainian studies and fostering a deeper understanding of Ukraine's historical and political context.
