Bohdan Stupka

Bohdan Stupka, born on August twenty-seventh, nineteen forty-one, in Kulykiv, was a prominent Ukrainian actor and politician who served as the Minister of Culture of Ukraine. His artistic journey began in the theater, where he captivated audiences with his performances, eventually amassing over fifty roles on stage and more than one hundred in films.

Stupka's contributions to the arts were recognized internationally. In two thousand one, he served as a jury member at the prestigious twenty-third Moscow International Film Festival. His talent shone brightly at the twenty-sixth festival, where he was honored with the Best Actor award for his remarkable performance in the film 'Our Own.'

Throughout his illustrious career, Stupka received numerous accolades, including the titles of Merited Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of the USSR, and Hero of Ukraine. His legacy continues through his son, Ostap Stupka, who also followed in his father's footsteps as an actor.

After a life dedicated to the arts and culture, Bohdan Stupka passed away and was laid to rest in Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv, leaving behind a rich legacy that continues to inspire future generations.
