Bol Bol, born on November sixteenth, nineteen ninety-nine, is a South Sudanese–American professional basketball player currently showcasing his talents with the TNT Tropang 5G in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is the son of the legendary Manute Bol, one of the tallest players in NBA history, and was born in Khartoum, Sudan, before moving to the Kansas City area at a young age.
Bol's basketball journey began at Blue Valley Northwest High School, where he initially played on the junior varsity team. He later transferred to Bishop Miege High School, where he continued on junior varsity due to transfer regulations. His talent shone through as he joined the varsity team in his second year, and by his junior year, he had moved to Mater Dei High School in California, further elevating his profile as a top recruit. In his final high school season, he played for Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada, solidifying his status as one of the best players in the class of 2018.
Recognized as a consensus five-star recruit and earning McDonald's All-American honors, Bol was drafted with the forty-fourth pick in the two thousand nineteen NBA draft by the Miami Heat. However, he was traded to the Denver Nuggets on draft day, marking the beginning of his professional career. Standing at an impressive seven feet three inches, Bol is among the tallest players in the history of the NBA and has also played for the Orlando Magic.
