Bootsy Collins

Bootsy Collins, born on October twenty-sixth, nineteen fifty-one, is a celebrated American bass guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He first gained recognition in the early nineteen seventies while performing with the legendary James Brown, where his innovative style began to take shape. Collins later became a pivotal figure in the Parliament-Funkadelic collective, solidifying his status as a leading innovator in the funk genre with his distinctive basslines and playful vocals.
