Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson, born on June 19, 1964, is a prominent British politician and writer who held the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2019 to 2022. A member of the Conservative Party, he also served as the party's leader during this period. Johnson's political career includes notable roles such as Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and the Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016, where he was re-elected in 2012.

Educated at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford, Johnson was elected president of the Oxford Union in 1986. His career in journalism began in 1989 with The Daily Telegraph, and he later became the editor of The Spectator from 1999 to 2005. His political journey saw him elected as MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and for Uxbridge and South Ruislip from 2015 until 2023.

Johnson was a key figure in the Brexit campaign during the 2016 EU membership referendum.
