Boris Živković

Boris Živković, born on November fifteenth, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished Croatian former professional footballer known for his versatility on the field, playing both as a full-back and a centre-back.

Živković commenced his professional journey with FK Sarajevo in his homeland before making a significant move to Croatia, where he signed with Marsonia and later Hrvatski Dragovoljac. His career took a notable turn when he joined Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, where he spent an impressive six seasons, showcasing his skills at a high level.

After his successful tenure in Germany, he had shorter spells with clubs such as Portsmouth, VfB Stuttgart, and 1. FC Köln. Eventually, he returned to Croatia to don the jersey of Hajduk Split, further solidifying his legacy in Croatian football.

On the international stage, Živković proudly represented the Croatia national team, earning thirty-nine caps and serving as captain in eighteen of those appearances, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to his country.
