Bowen Yang

Bowen Yang, born on November sixth, nineteen ninety, is a multifaceted American talent known for his work as a comedian, actor, podcaster, and writer. He made his mark in the entertainment industry as a staff writer for the iconic NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live in two thousand eighteen, and quickly transitioned to a cast member, where he showcased his comedic prowess for seven seasons until his departure in two thousand twenty-five.

In two thousand twenty-one, Yang achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first featured player in SNL history to receive a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category. This recognition coincided with his promotion to repertory status, solidifying his place in the show's legacy.

Beyond SNL, Yang has made notable appearances in various television series, including Girls5Eva, Ziwe, and The Other Two, and had a recurring role in Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens.
