Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Brad Little

Brad Little, born on February fifteenth, nineteen fifty-four, is an accomplished American politician currently serving as the thirty-third governor of Idaho since January two thousand nineteen. A dedicated member of the Republican Party, he previously held the position of the forty-second lieutenant governor of Idaho from two thousand nine to two thousand nineteen and served as an Idaho state senator from two thousand one to two thousand nine.

Little's educational journey culminated in a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho in nineteen seventy-six. His commitment to public service began in the nineteen eighties, leading to his appointment as an Idaho state senator by Governor Dirk Kempthorne in two thousand one. During his nearly eight-year tenure in the Senate, he chaired the majority caucus and represented the eighth and, following redistricting in two thousand two, the eleventh legislative districts.

In two thousand nine, he was appointed lieutenant governor by Governor Butch Otter after the resignation of Jim Risch, who moved on to become a United States senator. Following Otter's decision not to seek a fourth term, Little successfully ran for governor in the two thousand eighteen gubernatorial election, defeating Democratic nominee Paulette Jordan. His leadership was reaffirmed in two thousand twenty-two when he was reelected with sixty point five percent of the vote, overcoming challenges from Democratic nominee Stephen Heidt and independent candidate Ammon Bundy.
