Brek Shea

Brek Shea, born on February 28, 1990, is a former professional soccer player from the United States, known for his versatility as a left midfielder and left-back. He began his journey in the world of soccer at the prestigious IMG Academy, which paved the way for his entry into Major League Soccer with FC Dallas.

Shea made his professional debut during the 2008 season and quickly became a key player for FC Dallas. His contributions were instrumental in helping the team reach the MLS Cup Playoffs in both 2010 and 2011, showcasing his talent on a national stage.

In January 2013, Shea took a significant step in his career by joining the English Premier League side Stoke City for a transfer fee of two million five hundred thousand pounds. However, his time at Stoke was challenging, leading to loan spells at Barnsley and Birmingham City. In December 2014, he found a new home with Orlando City SC, where he continued to develop his skills.

Shea's journey in Major League Soccer continued when he was traded to Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2017. Most recently, he signed with Atlanta United FC as a free agent for the 2019 season, marking another chapter in his dynamic career.
