Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Brendan Christian

Brendan Christian, born on December eleventh, nineteen eighty-three, is a distinguished sprinter hailing from Antigua and Barbuda, specializing in the 200 metres event. He is the son of Donald Christian, a former cyclist who represented Antigua and Barbuda at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. Brendan's athletic prowess is highlighted by his personal best time of ten point zero nine seconds in the 100 metres, achieved in June two thousand nine in Nivelles.

As a junior athlete, Brendan made his mark by winning a silver medal in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 2002 World Junior Championships, where he also secured a sixth-place finish in the 100 metres. His journey continued as he competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals, and later at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, where he advanced to the semi-finals.

In two thousand seven, Brendan showcased his talent by winning a bronze medal in the 100 metres and a gold medal in the 200 metres at the Pan American Games. He further established his reputation at the 2007 World Championships, where he reached the semi-finals in both events and set a national record in the 200 metres with a time of twenty point two three seconds.

Brendan represented his country at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, competing in the 200 metres. He placed second in his first round heat with a time of twenty point five eight seconds and improved to twenty point two six seconds in the second round, winning his race. However, he finished fifth in the semi-finals, missing out on the final. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he again reached the semi-finals but placed fifth, once more falling short of a final appearance.
