Brent Sopel

Brent Sopel, born on January seventh, nineteen seventy-seven, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. His career in the National Hockey League (NHL) spanned several teams, showcasing his talent and versatility on the ice.

Selected one hundred forty-fourth overall in the nineteen ninety-five NHL entry draft by the Vancouver Canucks, Sopel quickly made a name for himself. Throughout his career, he played for notable teams including the New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Blackhawks, Atlanta Thrashers, and Montreal Canadiens.
