Brett Skinner, born on June twenty-eighth, nineteen eighty-three, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. With a career spanning over eleven seasons from two thousand five to two thousand seventeen, Skinner showcased his skills in more than four hundred games across the American Hockey League (AHL) for ten different clubs. His journey also took him briefly to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), the National Hockey League (NHL), and overseas to the Czech Republic.
After hanging up his skates, Skinner transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of head coach for the Fargo Force in the United States Hockey League (USHL). His coaching career began with a season at the helm of the Minnesota Wilderness in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), following five successful seasons as an assistant coach with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL.
