Joining the band in nineteen seventy-seven, Greenway has made significant contributions as a guitarist, harmonica player, and vocalist. His journey with April Wine began in the late seventies and spanned until nineteen eighty-six, when the band initially disbanded, before he rejoined in nineteen ninety-two, continuing to perform to this day.
Before his tenure with April Wine, Greenway showcased his musical talents in the bands Mashmakhan and the Dudes. His influence on April Wine is often highlighted, as he is credited with introducing a harder-edged sound that became a defining characteristic of the band's music.
