He rose to fame as the third lead singer of the iconic Australian rock band AC/DC, stepping into the role in nineteen eighty after the tragic passing of Bon Scott. Johnson's journey in music began as a founding member of the rock band Geordie, which originated in Newcastle upon Tyne in nineteen seventy-one.
