Bridget Brink

Bridget Brink, born on July eighteenth, nineteen sixty-nine, is a distinguished American diplomat and politician. With a career in the United States Foreign Service that began in nineteen ninety-six, she has held various significant positions within the State Department, showcasing her commitment to international relations.

From two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-two, Brink served as the United States ambassador to Slovakia. Her diplomatic journey took a pivotal turn when, in April two thousand twenty-two, she was nominated by President Joe Biden to become the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. She presented her credentials to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in May of the same year, stepping into a role that would see her navigate the complexities of the ongoing conflict following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

During her tenure as ambassador to Ukraine, Brink was a vocal advocate for U.S. military aid to support Ukraine in its struggle against aggression.
