Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers, known to the world as Brie Larson, was born on October 1, 1989. An accomplished American actress, singer, film director, and screenwriter, Larson has made a significant mark in both independent films and major blockbusters. Her impressive body of work has earned her numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Larson's journey in the arts began at a young age; at just six years old, she became the youngest student admitted to the American Conservatory Theater's training program. She launched her acting career in 1998 with a comedy sketch on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Her early television roles included a regular part in the sitcom Raising Dad (2001–2002) and a notable performance in the series United States of Tara (2009–2011).
