Brooklynn Prince, born on May fourth, two thousand ten, is an American actress and filmmaker who has captivated audiences with her remarkable performances. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Moonee in the acclaimed comedy-drama film The Florida Project, released in two thousand seventeen. Additionally, she showcased her talent as Hilde Lisko in the Apple TV+ series Home Before Dark, which aired from two thousand twenty to two thousand twenty-one.

In two thousand nineteen, Prince made her directorial debut with the short film Colours, marking the beginning of her journey behind the camera. Her creative prowess continued to shine in two thousand twenty-five when she wrote, produced, and directed the student short film Happy Thanksgiving. This dark comedy and satire revolves around a family gathering that spirals into a murder investigation over a dispute regarding orange juice.

Happy Thanksgiving garnered significant acclaim, being selected as an official entry at the twenty twenty-five Orlando Independent Film Festival and the All American High School Film Festival. For her outstanding work on the film, Prince was honored with the Audience Choice Award at the All American High School Film Festival and recognized as the Best Young Female Filmmaker at the Indie Short Fest in January twenty twenty-six.
