Bruno Soares

Bruno Soares, born on February twenty-seventh, nineteen eighty-two, is a distinguished former professional tennis player from Brazil, renowned for his exceptional skills in doubles. Over his illustrious career, he has made a significant mark in the world of tennis, particularly in doubles competitions.

Soares achieved remarkable success, clinching six major titles throughout his career. In men's doubles, he triumphed at the Australian Open and the US Open in two thousand sixteen alongside partner Jamie Murray, and later secured the US Open title in two thousand twenty with Mate Pavić. His prowess in mixed doubles is equally impressive, having won the US Open in two thousand twelve with Ekaterina Makarova, the US Open in two thousand fourteen with Sania Mirza, and the Australian Open in two thousand sixteen with Elena Vesnina.

In addition to his victories, Soares was a runner-up at the US Open in two thousand thirteen and the French Open in two thousand twenty in men's doubles, as well as at the Wimbledon Championships in mixed doubles in two thousand thirteen. He became the fourth Brazilian to win a major title in any discipline, following the legendary Maria Bueno, Thomaz Koch, and Gustavo Kuerten.
