Bryce Harper

Bryce Harper, born on October 16, 1992, is an American professional baseball outfielder and first baseman currently playing for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball (MLB). Before joining the Phillies, he made a significant impact with the Washington Nationals, where he was recognized as one of the most promising draft prospects in recent history.

Harper's journey in baseball began when he left Las Vegas High School after his sophomore year to attend the College of Southern Nevada. His talent shone brightly as he won the prestigious Golden Spikes Award in 2010. The Nationals selected him as the first overall pick in the 2010 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut on April 28, 2012, at just nineteen years old.

In his rookie season, Harper was selected for the 2012 All-Star Game, making history as the youngest position player to participate.
