Buddy Horne

Buddy Horne, born on October 4, 1933, was a talented Canadian ice hockey player whose athletic prowess shone brightly during the mid-twentieth century. He was a key member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen, a team that made its mark in the world of ice hockey.

Horne's most notable achievement came in 1956 when he represented Canada at the Winter Olympics held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. His contributions to the team were instrumental in securing a bronze medal, a proud moment for both Horne and his country.

Tragically, Buddy Horne's life was cut short when he passed away in Parry Sound, Ontario, on February 25, 1977, at the age of forty-three. His legacy, however, continues to inspire future generations of ice hockey players.
