Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson Jr., born on September 29, 1985, is a celebrated former professional football wide receiver who made a significant impact in the National Football League (NFL) during his nine seasons with the Detroit Lions. Known affectionately as 'Megatron,' a nod to the iconic Transformers character, Johnson is widely regarded as one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the sport.

Before his illustrious NFL career, Johnson showcased his exceptional talent at Georgia Tech, where he played college football for the Yellow Jackets. His outstanding performance earned him prestigious accolades, including the Fred Biletnikoff Award and the Paul Warfield Trophy in 2006. The Detroit Lions recognized his potential and selected him second overall in the 2007 NFL Draft.
