Cam'ron, born on February fourth, nineteen seventy-six, is a multifaceted artist known for his contributions as a rapper, songwriter, actor, and music executive. He first gained prominence in the hip hop scene with the formation of the group Children of the Corn in nineteen ninety-three, alongside notable artists Big L and Mase. Although the group disbanded in nineteen ninety-seven, Cam'ron went on to establish the influential hip hop collective, the Diplomats, also known as Dipset, which included his longtime collaborator Jim Jones and cousin Freekey Zekey.
In two thousand, Cam'ron released his second studio album, S.D.E. (Sports Drugs & Entertainment), which achieved gold certification from the RIAA. Following his departure from Epic Records, he signed with Roc-A-Fella Records in two thousand one, leading to the release of his third studio album, Come Home with Me, in two thousand two. This album was a commercial success, earning platinum certification and featuring hit singles such as 'Oh Boy' and 'Hey Ma,' which reached numbers four and three on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively.
