Cameron Zishan Rana-Jerome, born on August 14, 1986, is a former professional footballer from England, renowned for his role as a striker. His football journey began as a trainee with several clubs, including Huddersfield Town, Grimsby Town, Sheffield Wednesday, and Middlesbrough, before he signed a professional contract with Cardiff City in the summer of 2004.
At Cardiff City, Jerome quickly established himself as a key player, netting twenty goals during the 2005–06 season. His impressive performance caught the attention of Birmingham City, who acquired him for a fee of three million pounds. Over five years at St Andrew's, he experienced the highs of two promotions and the lows of two relegations, culminating in a memorable victory in the 2011 Football League Cup.
In August 2011, Jerome made a move to Stoke City for approximately four million pounds, where he primarily served as an impact player under manager Tony Pulis. However, with the arrival of new manager Mark Hughes, Jerome found himself out of favor and subsequently joined Crystal Palace on loan for the 2013–14 season.
After his loan spell, he signed with Norwich City in August 2014, making a significant contribution with 138 appearances over three and a half years. In January 2018, he transferred to Derby County, followed by a stint at Turkish club Göztepe. Jerome returned to England in October 2020, joining Milton Keynes Dons on a free transfer, and later spent 18 months with Luton Town before signing with Bolton Wanderers in January 2023. He concluded his career there, celebrating an EFL Trophy victory before retiring from professional football.
