Camillo Boito

Camillo Boito, born on October thirtieth, eighteen thirty-six, was a prominent Italian architect and engineer, whose influence extended beyond architecture into the realms of art criticism, art history, and literature. He was the brother of Arrigo Boito, a close friend and librettist of the renowned composer Giuseppe Verdi, which further anchored his significance in the cultural tapestry of Italy.

Throughout the latter half of the nineteenth century, Boito played a pivotal role in the cultural life of Milan.
