Carloman I

Carloman I, born on the twenty-eighth of June in the year seven hundred fifty-one, was a significant figure in the history of the Franks. As the second surviving son of Pepin the Short and Bertrada of Laon, he was born into a lineage that would shape the future of Western Europe. Ascending to the throne in seven hundred sixty-eight, Carloman I ruled as king of the Franks until his untimely death on the fourth of December in the year seven hundred seventy-one.
