Carlos Vives

Carlos Vives, born on August seventh, nineteen sixty-one, is a celebrated Colombian singer, songwriter, and actor. Renowned for his vibrant contributions to Latin music, he has sold over twenty million records globally, establishing himself as one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. Vives has played a pivotal role in popularizing vallenato music worldwide, while also masterfully blending traditional Colombian styles such as cumbia, champeta, bambuco, and porro with contemporary genres like Latin pop, rock, reggaeton, dance-pop, and tropical music.
