Caroline Thompson

Caroline Thompson, born on April twenty-third, nineteen fifty-six, is a multifaceted American screenwriter, film director, producer, novelist, and writer. Renowned for her creative storytelling, she has made significant contributions to the film industry, particularly through her collaborations with the iconic director Tim Burton.

Thompson is best known for her screenplays for several of Burton's beloved films, including the whimsical Edward Scissorhands and the enchanting Corpse Bride. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in the production of The Nightmare Before Christmas, showcasing her ability to weave intricate narratives that resonate with audiences.

In two thousand eleven, she adapted the screenplay for the film version of Wicked Lovely, a popular fantasy series, although the project ultimately faced delays.
