Caroline Viau

Caroline Viau, born on October twenty-ninth, nineteen seventy-one, is a distinguished Canadian para-alpine skier who made her mark on the international stage at the 1992 Winter Paralympics. Her remarkable talent and determination led her to achieve significant success in her sport.

At the Paralympics, Viau showcased her skills by winning a gold medal in the Women's Super-G LW5/7,6/8 event, along with two bronze medals in the Women's Downhill LW5/7,6/8 and Women's Giant Slalom LW5/7,6/8 events. These accomplishments not only highlight her athletic prowess but also her resilience as an athlete.

In recognition of her contributions to sports and her inspiring journey, Caroline was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in two thousand thirteen. This honor reflects her impact both on and off the slopes.
