Cătălin Predoiu

Cătălin Predoiu, born on August twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty-eight, is a prominent Romanian politician and lawyer. His political career has been marked by significant leadership roles, including serving as the interim Prime Minister of Romania on three occasions. His first term was from February sixth to February ninth in two thousand twelve, following the resignation of Emil Boc. He returned to this role from June twelfth to June fifteenth in two thousand twenty-three, after Nicolae Ciucă stepped down, and most recently from May sixth to June twenty-third in two thousand twenty-five, succeeding Marcel Ciolacu.

In addition to his tenure as interim Prime Minister, Predoiu has held the position of Minister of Justice three times. His first term spanned from two thousand eight to two thousand twelve, followed by a second term from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty, and a third from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-three.
