Cédric Bakambu

Cédric Bakambu, born on April 11, 1991, is a talented professional footballer who currently plays as a forward or winger for La Liga club Real Betis and the national team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Bakambu began his professional career with Sochaux in 2010, where he made a significant impact over five seasons, participating in 107 official matches and netting 21 goals. His impressive performance led to a transfer to Bursaspor for a fee of one million eight hundred thousand euros, where he excelled as the top scorer, helping his team secure a runners-up position in the Turkish Cup.

In 2015, Bakambu took a significant step in his career by signing with Villarreal, further establishing his reputation in European football. Although born in France, he represented the French national team at youth levels, including the under-20s, where he scored eight goals in 38 appearances and celebrated victory in the 2010 UEFA European Championship for the under-19s.
