Cedric the Entertainer

Cedric Antonio Kyles, widely recognized as Cedric the Entertainer, was born on April 24, 1964. He has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. His career took off when he hosted BET's ComicView during the 1993–1994 season, followed by his memorable role in Def Comedy Jam in 1995, which showcased his comedic talent to a broader audience.

One of Cedric's most notable achievements was co-starring with Steve Harvey on The WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, where he became a household name. He is also celebrated as one of The Original Kings of Comedy, a title that solidified his status in the comedy world. His film career includes a standout performance as Eddie Walker in the beloved movie Barbershop, which further showcased his versatility as an actor.
