Celso Amorim

Celso Amorim, born on June third, nineteen forty-two, is a distinguished Brazilian diplomat, politician, writer, and filmmaker. His career in diplomacy is marked by significant roles, including his tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs under two presidents. Amorim first held this position from July twentieth, nineteen ninety-three, to December thirty-first, nineteen ninety-four, during the presidency of Itamar Franco. He returned to this vital role from January first, two thousand three, to December thirty-first, two thousand ten, under President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
